Seniors' Rental Housing - Seniors' Housing
Britco is proud to be manufacturing seniors’ rental housing units in partnership with BC Housing. This innovative project is the result of a $123 million modular Seniors’ Rental Housing Initiative funded jointly by the Federal and Provincial Governments. The goal is to provide affordable rental housing for seniors and people with disabilities in small towns and rural communities across British Columbia.

Britco is manufacturing 152 units (80 at our Penticton facility and 72 at the Agassiz plant) of the 358 units being provided by BC Housing which are destined for 11 communities around the province. Designed to meet EnerGuide 80™ and incorporating Adaptable Living accessible features, the units are energy efficient and designed to meet the needs of senior and disabled residents. This innovative rental housing project is another example of how modular construction saves time and is a cost-effective way to deliver sustainable, high-quality accommodations and building solutions.
